Google index is shuffling for various keywords as observed today i.e 17 november 2011. Google is coming up with strong filters to their algorithm. I suspect these algorithmic changes may affect those website who are dependent on blog comments (as a link building approach).
I tried to study the index for different keywords and found that several websites that were performing well in their niche were thrown back to 2-3 page. A lot of trusted websites were affected to this update. Apart i also suspect that content has to play a role in this update as well. Content rich websites + websites that follow natural one way linking process will emerge as the winners.
As of now, updates are still going through a change. Let see the trend for next week or so.
